Competition skiing

This stay of 10 alpine skiing sessions is the perfect opportunity for all budding skiers to add a string to their bow. Special slalom, timed giant slalom and technical skiing, experienced instructors accompany you to help you progress serenely in this discipline.

Designed for young teenagers keen on skiing, this stay is supervised by passionate instructors who will accompany you in the discovery of the practice of slalom.
The ski sessions are supervised by our instructors from Monday morning to Friday afternoon, including 1 optional on Wednesday morning (accompanied by animators for 11-13 year olds) + 1 oxygenation and warm-up session on Sunday afternoon. noon depending on arrival time.

The program

Monday morning : You slide with friends to regain your feelings and your instructor gives you advice on how to stretch your legs in complete safety.
Afternoon : You approach all the notions of skiing: balance, body weight on the downhill ski, pivoting of the feet and edge grip in order to understand the vocabulary and situate your technical level.

Tuesday morning : You start your morning in an easy slalom by adapting your gestures in imposed trajectories.
Afternoon : You are looking for speed on the main boulevards by reducing skidding as much as possible.

Wednesday morning : You have the choice of riding with your leaders or resting from the Tuesday evening boom.
Afternoon : You train in a giant slalom (arrow type) and you improve your anticipation to gain a few seconds in the tracks.

Thursday morning : Your coach suggests various situations allowing you to make better use of your equipment.
Afternoon : You put in place in the stakes what you learned in the morning.

Friday morning : It's time to measure yourself against the clock and your friends. 3,2,1, gone, great! You are at the maximum of your concentration to have tense trajectories and to keep your skis as much as possible on the slope.
Afternoon : You take advantage of the last slopes to ski free with your instructor. Last turns, last pleasures!

The course of this program is given as an indication.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or prevailing climatic conditions. In this case, only those in charge of the Romii CLUB framework are authorized to take the necessary decision(s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

If you come on your own.

You come by car Autoroute Blanche A40, direction Chamonix, exit n°19 (Cluses-centre/Flaine) and follow direction Flaine.

The sports village is located at the bottom of the resort in Flaine snow front, car park P5. Paid parking located behind the center (6 euros / day). 1h30 free to unload luggage. Free parking 400 m from the sports village. It is strongly recommended to bring snow chains. Coming by train Get off at Cluses train station located 30 km from the sports village centre. Take the ALPBUS bus company. Information on 04 50 03 70 09. It will cost you around 12 euros one way. Journey time: 1h15.
